The Law Review has launched a new platform for legal scholarship called the Washington University Law Review Online. It offers a new outlet for short, timely, and original pieces of scholarship. As a generalist journal, we hope the Washington University Law Review Online will feature pieces accessible to a wide audience. A non-exhaustive list of possible submissions includes: op-ed style pieces, essays, commentary on judicial or legislative developments, and book reviews.
The Washington University Law Review Online welcomes submissions from a wide array of contributors–ranging from law professors and J.D. candidates, to practicing attorneys and lawmakers. Submissions should be a maximum of 2,000 words and should be minimally footnoted.
We are excited about this new frontier for the Law Review and look forward to further developing dialogue around current legal issues.
